Christmas Pages 2014

Christmas can be such a fun subject to create scrapbook pages. Save your Christmas cards that you receive.  You can use the pictures and the sayings and create all new cards, or use them for creating your Christmas pages. Save your gift tags, and even some of the wrapping paper if it is acid free they can also be used in your pages.  I would even use some small flat ornaments if possible.  Just let your imagination soar. Try to see what the pages would look like from the eyes of a child. or a grandparent. Have you every done a book for a Grandparent?
I hope I have given you some ideas and gotten your creative juices flowing. Have fun scrapping till we meet again,

Spooktacular Halloween

Hi there fellow scrappers!
Hope you all had a Spooktacular Halloween! Did you take pictures of your little goblins?  Here is an idea for your scrapbook page.  Use ghost or bat stickers to decorate the corner tabs holding your pictures. Then use a Halloween shaped piece of scrapping paper to write your story to tell about the picture. For instance take a ghost shaped piece of scrapbook paper and write what you want on it and then put a white ghost shaped piece of velum over the top of it for a ghostly look to your writing. Make sure you use a dark ink for the writing. You can also use Halloween paper to do the Lettering for your Title.
This idea can also be used for your fall pages using leaves and acorn shapes.

I'm Back.

Please take a moment and remember the families of 9/11 on this 13th Anniversary of this terrible act of terrorizism against our country.
Hi everyone wanted to let you know that I had a great time visiting with my sister and Brother-in-law. We had lots of family gatherings and even had a Seahawks Opening Day Tailgate Party. Looks like it will be next summer before we can see my sister again. At least we can talk or text  other.
I also want to let you know that I am going to be starting research for my next blog and will try to post it soon. I have a couple of ideas for my next blog but I don't want to say anything right now.

Meanwhile, you all keep scrapping and watch for my next post.

PERSONAL NOTE

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I may not be posting very much if at all from now through the 9th of September. My sister and her husband are here visiting from out of state and I want to spend as much time as I  can with them.  I only get to see them once or twice a year so I am sure you understand.

                                                         HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!
